How do I know my booking is confirmed? 

Once you've completed your flight booking you'll be shown a summary screen. This shows your complete itinerary - including any additional products or services you elected to choose during the booking process.  We recommend you print this screen and keep a copy for your records.

A confirmation email with details of your booking will also be sent straight away to the email address you provided whilst booking. The email will contain your booking reference(s) and itinerary. This is your receipt of payment and your contract with Silverjet. It's a good idea to keep these emails, and make a note of each reference number, in case you need to speak to us before you set off on your trip.

Most email accounts offer an unwanted mail filter service to protect you from junk mail. It is possible that if you haven’t received your confirmation email it has been mistakenly filtered by this service. We would also advise that you change your filter settings to accept email from Silverjet.

Can I book for someone else?

With Silverjet, yes you can. When you make the booking, just make sure that the name of the person who is travelling is entered in the “Passenger details”' section on the “Pay” screen.  You will then have to decide whether you or the person you're booking for would like to receive the booking confirmation email.

 

How do I reconfirm my flights?

Silverjet doesn’t ask you to reconfirm your flights

 

How can I find the best fare?

We have designed our web site to always display our lowest fare available on each flight. Therefore, you can be sure that the search results shown always reflect which seats are truly available and at what price. You don’t need to know any tricks!

 

What is the maximum number of people I can include in an online booking?

You can make a booking for up to nine people online. If you would like to book a larger group, please complete the 'Group booking' form that can be found below the flight search. Alternatively, phone our call centre and they will be happy to help.

 

How do I book valet parking or chauffeur driven transfer after I've booked my flights online?

You can book chauffeur driven transfers or valet parking – providing you do so at least 24 hours before your flight departure – online through the ‘Manage my booking’ section of the website. To enter Manage my booking you will need your booking reference (at the top of your confirmation email eg. AAADJ5) and the surname used. Alternatively, you can book these products by phoning our call centre.

 

What should I do if I make a mistake on my booking?

As soon as you realise you’ve made a mistake, please use the email facility on this page to send us the details of your booking. How can I view my itinerary details online after I have booked?

To view your itinerary, simply go to the “Manage my bookings” link on the Silverjet web site homepage. Enter your booking reference and the surname of the passenger travelling.  You will then be shown the details of your booking, to which you can add your preferred meal type and even choose your seat if you haven’t done so already.

 

What should I do if I lose my confirmation email?

If you lose your original confirmation email, please call our call centre on 0844 855 0111 (calls cost up to 5p per minute) 24 hours. With your booking reference you can visit “Manage my bookings” on the Silverjet web site to view and print your itinerary details.

 

What taxes, fees, and charges could be added to my fare?

Silverjet fares are quoted on a per person, per one way journey or per round trip basis, excluding taxes, fees and charges.  Surcharges may apply and fares and taxes may fluctuate owing to currency exchange rates and tax changes.  Each sector of your journey is treated as a separate flight. 

In addition to the fare for your journey, you must pay any taxes, fees and charges imposed on us by Government or other authority, including the operator of an airport, for which we are obliged to collect from you or pay in respect of you and your flight.  When you make your reservation we will tell you about any taxes, fees and charges not included in the fare and they will normally be shown separately on the flight confirmation document and/or receipt.  Taxes, fees and charges change constantly and can be imposed or altered after the date we have confirmed your reservation and allocated a Confirmation Reference. If they change or if a new tax, fee or charge is imposed after your reservation is confirmed and a Confirmation Reference has been allocated, you will have to pay us any increase. Similarly, if any taxes, fees or charges you paid to us at the time your reservation was confirmed and for which a Confirmation Reference was allocated, are then abolished or reduced, you will be entitled to claim a refund from us.  If you do not use your confirmed reservation, you will be entitled to claim a refund of any taxes, fees and charges which you have paid, less an administration charge of 20.00 GBP / 40.00 USD / 150 AED.

 

Can I request a specific seat?

We will endeavour to meet all advance seating requests, although these cannot be guaranteed as we may find it necessary to change your seat for operational, safety or security reasons.

Customers with special needs, together with the elderly, frail or any other customer who, in our reasonable opinion, would be unable to assist in the event of an emergency, will not be seated at or adjacent to an Emergency Exit.

 

I’m pregnant. Can I travel with Silverjet?

Silverjet will accept Expectant Mothers for travel up to the end of their 28th week of pregnancy without a medical certificate.  If travelling from the end of their 28th week and the end of their 34th week of pregnancy a medical certificate will be required stating the number of weeks of the pregnancy and confirming the Expectant Mother is fit to fly.  We are unable to accept Expectant Mothers once they reach the 36th week of their pregnancy, or in the case of those who are expecting a multiple birth, after the end of their 32nd week, and therefore all flights should be completed before this time is reached.  Medical certification must be supplied by a doctor, we regret that we cannot accept those completed by a registered midwife.

 

Can I book a seat for my infant?

Infants (defined as being children under the age of 2 years) may travel at the applicable child fare for the particular journey undertaken and will occupy a seat with a suitable infant seat fitted (provided by Silverjet).  Infants under the age of 2 weeks cannot be accepted for travel.   

Children aged between 2 and 11 years must occupy their own seat for which they will pay the child fare, which is 25% less than an adult fare.

 

Can I book a seat for my child to travel unaccompanied?

Silverjet does not accept unaccompanied minors under the age of 14 years for travel.  Children under 14 years of age cannot travel unless they are accompanied by a person of 16 years of age or over who will take responsibility for the minor.
