What will happen if my baggage is lost whilst I am flying with silverjet?
Although we make every effort to ensure that your baggage is handled with care, owing to the complexity of airport baggage handling systems, accidents can and do occur. It may be of interest for you to know that, in common with other airlines, our liability for loss, delay or damage to baggage is limited and the settlement of any claim is based upon weight and not value.
Silverjet does not accept liability for fragile, valuable, perishable items contained within checked baggage or for baggage which is packed in unsuitable or damaged containers.
If your baggage is delayed, damaged or lost following a Silverjet flight, you must advise a member of Silverjet staff or our representative as soon as possible at the airport of arrival. They will complete a detailed report and provide you with a Report Reference Number which should be quoted in all subsequent enquiries or correspondence.
For full details, please see our Travel regulations

Is duty free shopping available in Silverjet's private terminals?
London Luton
There are currently no duty free shopping options in the Silver Lounge at London Luton airport and in the main terminal before security. Because we whisk customers through our own dedicated security and straight to the plane, customers cannot access the duty free options at the main terminal post-security.
Newark
The Silver Lounge at Newark is located in the main terminal building and a selection of duty free products is available at the airport.
Dubai
The Silver Lounge is located at the Al Majlis - VIP Terminal where a small outlet provides a selection of duty free products. Please note that the Al Majlis terminal is located approximately 5kms from the main terminal buildings at Dubai International Airport.

Restricted medicines in Dubai
Dubai operates a strict anti-drug policy, with severe penalties for people convicted of drug offences.
Please note that a number of over-the-counter medicines available in the UK and US, such as Codine, require an accompanying doctor's note or prescription to be presented on arrival at Dubai to authenticate its use for the duration of the holiday.
To find out what medicines require additional documentation on entry into Dubai, download the Government's List of Restricted and Controlled Drugs.
