Silver Lounge
Unlike any other airline, Silverjet has its own departure terminal at London Luton where customers can enjoy our exclusive Silver Lounge with its own dedicated security arrangements. This means no long check-in queues and lengthy walks to the plane. The lounge is open three hours before the flight, although you can check in up to 45 minutes before departure with baggage to check in, or 30 minutes before departure with hand baggage only.
In our Silver Lounge customers can enjoy a drink and a light snack before departure. There is a range of newspapers and top quality magazines to read, plus wireless broadband (wi-fi) service throughout. You can even freshen up with a shower before departure or when you arrive.
Proud of being British and in keeping with our commitment to only the very best, we are pleased to have collaborated with dunhill (www.dunhill.com), the definitive men’s luxury goods brand, to create the unique dunhill den at our Luton Silver Lounge. Bringing back the elegance and sophistication of early aviation, you can relax in their vintage leather armchairs and sofas, whilst using the distinctive fuel tank table, and admiring the sleek Art Deco ‘Silver Jets’.
As our private terminal eliminates the couple of hours hanging around normally associated with air travel, some facilities are only available in the main terminal at London Luton.
If you should wish to make use of bureaux de change, cash machines, left luggage or postal facilities, or you wish to visit the newsagent, please allow a little extra time to use those just inside the main terminal which is less than a two minute walk from Silverjet. Unfortunately, duty free shopping is not available before security in the Silver Lounge or in the main terminal. Because Silverjet whisks customers through dedicated security and straight to the plane, customers are unable to access duty free shopping.
